| The Hospital
The city's hospital. It is a large structure, consisting of three wings. It is three floors tall. There is also a large parking lot behind the structure.
In addition, there is a large morgue in the basement of the hospital.

| College
The city's large college campus takes up a large amount of space. It consists of the Science and Math building, the Music and Drama building, the Art and Photography Studio, and the Administrative building.

| The Restaurant
One of the city's many restaurants, this is not a formal place. No bellboys or fancy dinner coats. No wild array of salad, and dinner forks. Just good quality home-cooking at decent prices. At least, it used to be.

| The Apartments
The massive Gothic apartment complex was built in the early 1900s, and little has changed since its construction and grand opening.
The apartment complex consists of a central structure with two wings running parallel to each other, creating a large U-shaped structure with a central courtyard, overlooked by balconies on three sides.

| Shopping Mall
The immense shopping mall covers several acres. It has a variety of stores on three floors. It has a food court, a cinema, toy stores, sporting good stores, etc. There is also a loading dock.

| 7-11
The local quick-stop store. It sells from cigarettes and alcohol, to candy bars and ice cream. There's food that still has yet to go bad.

| Subway
The city's underground subway. It is an efficient transportation device. It used to transport many people a day between the city and the airport. Whether it is safe down there or not, is anyone's guess.

| THE TURNPIKE <<< |
| The Sewers
The sewers are a massive underground maze. Running for miles on end, the sewers are a good place in which someone can easily get lost.

| Water Treatment Plant
The immense water treatment plant. Through a long and complicated process, it takes in millions of gallons of contaminated water, filters and cleans and sanitizes it, and puts out clean, drinking water. It has a separate energy supply than the rest of the city or surrounding area, completely independent.

| Turnpike
Hundreds, thousands of cars. Abandoned. Derelicts. Some with shattered windows. Some with blood soaked seats. A lone doll. A little girl must be missing her. Or not. Hundreds, thousands of cars. Far as the eye can see.

| Trainyard
The immense train yard is a herculean maze of tracks, criss-crossing over each other. Trains stationed, back to back. Some parked in the warehouses, where they were being inspected and repaired. Decommissioned trains were also kept there, to be taken to the metal yard to be broken down and recycled.

| >>> THE UNDERGROUND |
| Underground Police Department
The Underground Police Department, or the UPD was established by the government in the early stages of the infection as they moved as many people as possible to massive underground bunkers. The UPD is on the first level.

| Delta Seven Special Forces
The Delta Seven are a group of specifically chosen men and women meant to locate and retrieve survivors. Their purpose is search and rescue. They share the first level with the UPD.

| Medical Level
The Medical Level is where the medics treat the wounded. Sadly with no hope of a cure for the virus, those that become infected, have but one cure, death. The Medical Level is the second level in the Hive.

| Cafeteria
The third level of the massive underground "Hive" is the cafeteria. It serves hot meals cooked in a large kitchen. It has dozens of long buffet tables, and track lighting along the ceiling.

| Sleeping Quarters
The Sleeping Quarters are the most expansive portions of the immense Hives. They take up the two bottom most levels, and are also the largest and most expansive. They can house hundreds of people at a time comfortably.

| THE HIDEOUT <<< |
| Lost Heaven Hideout
The Lost Heaven Hideout is based somewhere in the ruined remains of the city. The hideout is a complex and fortified installation, camouflaged as a ruined, burnt-out apartment complex, an old, dark-brick Gothic building.
